All Thermex models come with either a 2 or 5 year warranty depending on the model and customer's preference.
The warranty covers any damages on the inner tank for 2 or 5 years depending on the model and the customer's choice. The mechanical parts (Element, thermostat, flange, gasket and anode) are covered for 12 months.
All 5ltrs and 10ltrs models can be installed directly to the Main Supply. Larger models can also be installed to the main supply but a pressure vessel must be installed. (Contact us to guide you what size of pressure vessel would be best to install with your water heater.)
Thermex Water Heaters can be installed only on FLOW PUMPS not exceeding 2.5 Bars. A pressure vessel must also be installed form models larger than 10ltrs.
It is very important to switch off the water heater immediately, close the water input and contact our support team or the retailer from where you purchased your water heater.
The water heater should be kept installed on site.
If a technician is called on site, and the fault isn't related to the water heater, a €35.00 charge will apply. If unpaid, the warranty will be regarded as NULL.
The water heater must be switched off immediately in the event of any irregularity in operation or visible damage. The supplier shall not be responsible for any personal injuries and/or material damages or losses incurred in connection with the use of the water heater.
In case of defect or leaking the supplier is only responsible for replacing the water heater, and therefore dissembling and assembling is done at an extra charge.
This warranty is valid only in first place of installation and does not cover damages incurred from misuse or unprofessional installation. Kindly read carefully manual of water heater before installing.
The safety valve must always be installed. If not, the warranty will be regarded as void. The supplier is not responsible if the safety valve drips due to excessive pressure. No equipment, with the exception of a Pressure Vessel, is to be installed between the water heater and the Safety Valve.
This warranty should be presented if any repairs / replacement are required.
The warranty is void if the water heater is installed in a location subject to bad weather.
The warranty is void if the electrical power supply has severe over or under voltages.
The warranty is void if the water heater is installed on a defective electrical connection.
If the water heater is switched on prior to being filled up, the warranty is regarded as void.
The water heater and safety valve must be kept under good maintenance.
The warranty does not cover physical damage to the outer casing such as dents.
The warranty is null if non compliant spare parts are used to repair / amend the water heater.
